Matangi Melpakkam

I started this week off at home. After a strong return from Fourth of July at work, I picked up my mom from the airport. It was nice to see her after her long trip to India. I returned to DC on Tuesday and spent Wednesday recording a panel and working on the budget project.

The end of this internship is looming too close for comfort. This week besides continuing what I have been working on, I have been working on the intro to my final project and planning out a schedule for how to get everything done.

Monday was the 4th of July! A lot of us went to the National Mall and had fantastic seats right under the Washington Monument to see the fireworks display over the reflecting pool.
