AIP Member Societies
When you join SPS national as an undergraduate, you get a free one-year membership in two of ten professional physics societies... all of which are members of the American Institute of Physics (AIP).
National Society of Black Physicists (NSBP)
The National Society of Black Physicists (NSHP) seeksto promote the professional well-being of African American physicists and physics students within the international scientific community and within society at large. SPS has a free joint membership program with NSBP.
National Society of Hispanic Physicists (NSHP)
The National Society of Hispanic Physicists (NSHP) seeks to increase opportunities for Hispanics in physics and to increase the number of practicing Hispanic physicists, particularly by encouraging Hispanic students to enter a career in physics. SPS and NSHP offer joint memberships at a discounted price.
