Wow! What an amazing summer. I'm back home in Buffalo now and I still can't believe my time in D.C. has come to an end. The journey home and the past week or so have been a mix of melancholy and joy.

There is no end to the exploration in D.C.! This past weekend we spent time walking through both the Freer Gallery of Art and Arlington National Cemetery. I was amazed by how many floors fit beneath the Freer Gallery!

Technology. I’ve known a couple of people who, upon learning of my two majors, question the wisdom in pursuing a degree in two vastly different subjects. These people wave their hands and claim that the two don’t work together, but I disagree. I see the two as entirely complimentary and after finishing my undergraduate studies, I hope to combine my love of sound and science and pursue a Ph.D. in Acoustics.
