The Society of Physics Students at the University of Central Arkansas invites all of the Zone 10 chapters to this year's annual Zone 10 Meeting. This years meeting will follow the theme of "Growing as a Community." This meeting will offer those who attend a chance to learn ways to enhance your SPS community, a chance to network, and a chance to present SPS accomplishments and student research. Check the Zone 10 Facebook page for updates.

When the SPS National Council met in September, not only was the group working to shape the future of the society, it was also real-time professional development for the student members.

Wow, this summer has gone by fast!  This week started off with a tour of Capitol Hill where two of my fellow interns have been working with science policy.  First we toured the Capitol building itself.

The twelve 2015 Society of Physics Students interns will have very interesting answers when asked what they did this summer. A summary of their project outcomes alone is staggering.

SPS members,

You are invited to attend a FREE forum on careers in rheology on Sunday, October 11 at the 87th Annual Meeting of the Society of Rheology (SoR) in Baltimore, Maryland. Whether you have dreamed of such a path for years or aren't even sure what rheology is, there is much to learn here.
