Tyler Price

Biography

I am entering my senior year studying Engineering Physics with a Materials Processing option and a minor in Math at the University of Tulsa. I have been involved in SPS since my first semester of college and have been the chapter’s secretary for the last year. I am also a university ambassador and a leader in my local chapters of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, as well as a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity’s international Student Advisory Committee. This summer, my research will be in self-healing materials. After graduation, I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering to eventually become a professor. In my free time, I play bass in TU’s orchestra and guitar at my church and I also enjoy being outdoors water skiing, running, or hiking.
