Nicole Johnson is a junior at Coe College. She has been an active member of the Coe Physics Club as former treasurer and current president. She has been actively involved in research since before her freshman year. She is currently studying electronic conduction in glasses that will be used in the next generation of particle detectors. This research has led her to spend a few weeks at CERN with her research group in addition to attending and presenting at a number of conferences. While not in the lab doing research or eating ice cream at the weekly Physics Club Ice Cream Socials, she can be found skating at the ice arena or traveling.
