University of Texas-Dallas
2023
SPS Google Scholarship
At the moment, I am a sophomore majoring in physics and minoring in mathematics at the University of Texas at Dallas. I previously served as the secretary for our SPS chapter but have been elected as the vice president and will be serving as such for the upcoming semester. On top of SPS activities, I plan to partake in research on ultra-fast spectroscopy in one of the labs at my university next semester. Outside of academics, I enjoy working with robotics and electronics during my spare time. I'm part of my university's robotics club and scientific computing club where I will be acting as the technology chair for the latter. My goal is to be able to encourage other physics students to be more active in events involving STEM and to interact with their fellow physics majors more as it brings me joy to see others working together. Hopefully, I will be able to attend graduate school for a PhD in physics after I graduate. The career I want to pursue after my PhD is still up for debate, but I have hope I'll have some sort of plan by the time I graduate my undergraduate studies.
