Megan Rhea

Biography

I am currently approaching my last semester at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls which will be my student teaching semester and will be completing my bachelor's in Physics Secondary Education. I have been involved with my chapter of SPS since I transferred back in the fall of 2021 and since then I have served as the Media Officer. I have helped with many events that we have hosted that have given me the opportunity to practice my teaching skills such as two planetarium shows for first grade classes and two Physics with The Twins events I have volunteered for and were some of the best experiences I've had during college so far. Finally, after college I plan on working as a Physics teacher at one of the nearby high schools around my home town. I hope to be able to continue to stay connected with my SPS chapter in order to possibly provide the chapter outreach opportunities with the high school I will be working at.
