Aaditya Bhattacharya

Biography

I am Aaditya Bhattacharya, a freshman and upcoming sophomore at Juniata College, PA. My Program of Emphasis is Physics with individualization in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am an incoming Summer Undergraduate Research Intern at the Joint Quantum Institute – University of Maryland, College Park, MD. My research will be inclined towards Quantum Optics and Laser Physics specifically involving optical interferometers and Parametric Amplifiers. I am interested in pursuing a career in computational physics especially Quantum Computing. Apart from academic engagements I am also in the Juniata Men’s swimming team. With my school’s SPS chapter, I have participated in various activities like attending Physcon 2022, and have been an active member by participating in events like Physics Phun Night and Family STEM day at Juniata.
