Fiona McDaniel

Biography

I am a senior pursuing a major in physics and a minor in data science engineering at UCLA. I love learning about the universe through modeling and visualizing data. I have enjoyed applying these techniques to study gravitational waves, deep space optical communication links, and antiparticle spectrometer tests. After my bachelors, I hope to attend graduate school, and then continue my pursuits of data science for physics applications in industry. Aside from physics, I am interested in poetry and environmental justice, and in my free time I enjoy singing with my acappella group and rock climbing.
