My name is Marissa Murray and I am a rising junior and physics major at Georgetown University.  At school, I am a member of the Georgetown sailing team, I am a teaching assistant, I help advertise and take pictures for Spoon University, and I volunteer with Project Sunshine at the local hospital.  Last semester, two of my classmates and I developed a start-up for a class, we called it BedRest: a sickness survival kit with day-of delivery for college students. This coming semester, I will be studying abroad in Prague and learning Czech. The past three summers, I have taught sailing at the Jersey Shore, so I'm excited to be doing something completely different: learning about science policy in DC.
