Jared Canright is presently a second-year physics and electrical engineering double major at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, NM. He has worked as a research assistant for Dr. David Raymond for the past year on topics in atmospheric physics, particularly tropical cyclogenesis. Additionally, he has been working as an introductory physics laboratory instructor since the beginning of the Fall 2014 semester. Jared graduated from James T. Hutchison High School in Fairbanks, AK in May of 2013, where he concurrently attended classes at University of Alaska Fairbanks.
