SPS Leadership Scholarship
I am an approaching senior at Missouri University of Science and Technology with a dual major in Physics and Applied Mathematics. I am working currently to complete a research paper on Tempered Fractional Brownian Motion, a computational and statistics based subsection of condensed matter physics. I have been the president of the Society of Physics Students for two years and have been heavily involved in other organizations across campus including the student politic, hall government, and governmental politics based Student Council, UCHA, and Associated Students of the University respectively, the volunteer organization Miner Challenge, and the honors organizations Kappa Mu Epsilon, Sigma Pi Sigma, and Blue Key. My interests include writing, hiking, gaming, and looking into new developments in the world of physics. Upon graduation, I hope to attend graduate school to get my doctorate in physics with specialization in astrophysics and condensed matter. Overall, I am looking forward to what the future may hold and hope others can do the same.
