I am a rising senior at Augustana College majoring in physics and applied math. I have been a member of Augustana's SPS chapter since my freshman year, and have been serving as secretary for the past two years. I am heavily involved in our chapter's outreach, which have included various STEM Nights open to the Quad Cities community and "Spring Into Physics," an after-school physics program for area elementary school students. In my research at Augustana, I characterized a charged particle detector telescope and will begin analyzing data this summer from experiments run with the telescope at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at MSU. In my free time, I play the trumpet in Augustana's symphonic band and orchestra.
