Event description
East Tennessee State University is excited to announce that we will be hosting the Zone 8 Zone meeting for SPS and Sigma Pi Sigma. It will be held October 11-12, 2024 on the campus of ETSU.
The mountains of northeast Tennessee and fall weather are both beautiful and our chapter officers have plenty of exciting and entertaining events planned. Attached is a flyer for the meeting and below is a link to a Google Forms site for Registration. Zone meetings are an excellent opportunity to network and share experiences with peers; we encourage student and faculty presentations. Of particular note, we are planning a liquid nitrogen pumpkin drop, & planetarium show.
The Registration Form includes a Tentative schedule of events and contact information for SPS officers. A small registration fee helps cover the costs for some special events. The form also allows users to upload abstracts for those wishing to present posters or oral talks, aiding us in preparing a program for the day.
