Event description
RSVP here to the Society of Physics Students Zone 3 meeting at Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, NJ.
We'll meet during Friday and Saturday (4/12-4/13) to network, share research, listen to speakers and more. We will visit the LARGEST planetarium in the USA and see wonderful exhibits at Liberty Science Center. Additionally, you'll be a convenient 15-min train ride away from Manhattan for your personal leisure time.
Please come with your research poster in hand for our poster session (4/12)! You'll be presenting your latest and most exciting work with all your zone 3 peers, professionals, and the HCCC community. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your best picture(s) of the April 8th total solar eclipse. There will be awards to the top three submissions! Please send your pictures to physicssociety [at] hccc.edu with the subject line: 'Eclipse picture submission'. You may forward any other questions to the same email address.
Cost for all participants, including chaperones, is $12.51/person.
The check-in will be at 9:00am on Friday April 12th, at the following address: 263 Academy St, Jersey City, NJ, 07306.
