Kevin is a senior physics and geology major at the University of Maryland- College Park. He has been working on the Cosmic Ray Energetics and Mass experiment for about two years, helping to launch a calorimeter and several cosmic ray detectors on the International Space Station. As an SPS member, he has helped the physics department organize several events on campus such as "physics is phun" and the physics section of Maryland Day. He has also helped organize trips to the American Center for Physics and National SPS office in College Park, being located conveniently nearby it. Having recently acquired a Marsh White Project for the chapter, the UMD chapter and him are working with the Port Discovery Museum in Baltimore, MD to design a physics section to their "Percussion Garden". Kevin is also the Liquid Nitrogen Steward for his SPS chapter, having brought countless hours of happiness and joy to the masses through LN2 demos and ice cream.
