Kaitlyn Sheriff has been an active member of the Society of Physics Students for three years. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from Lycoming College. During her time as a student, Katie has been involved in various research projects, where she has honed her skills in programming and research methods. She has also served as a tutor and a teaching assistant for labs and recitations in the Physics and Astronomy Department, demonstrating her commitment to sharing her knowledge and supporting her peers. Katie is particularly passionate about creating a more inclusive space for women in the science community, and is committed to supporting the needs and concerns of members in our zone. She is excited about the opportunity to serve as an Associate Zone Councilor, and looks forward to working collaboratively with the Zone Councilor and other councilors to promote the interests of our zone.
