Jared Coles

Jared Coles is a first-generation college student studying Applied Physics at the University of Utah and will graduate in May 2020 with an Honors Bachelor's Degree. Jared has served as secretary and president of his local chapter of SPS. His participation in his chapter includes their many outreach events and demonstrations for local scouts, schools, and refugee programs. In addition to SPS, Jared does condensed matter research in Dr. Deemyad's group studying magnetic and structural properties of materials under pressure.
