Jamie Woodworth

Jamie is an active and enthusiastic student in the physics community of Ithaca College. They are a significant presence in our department and often check in with their peers to make sure everyone is doing okay and will readily offer advice if asked. They are always happy to help others and are willing to go out of their way to provide what is needed. Jamie enjoys getting involved with the local events that our chapter promotes and loves participating in national meetings. They always jump at the opportunity to share physics with the general public and discuss the subject with such fervor that you cannot help but get excited along with them. Jamie has proven to be a determined and diligent individual who exemplifies the saying “anything worth doing is worth doing well.” They are dependable and put passion into their projects so that they produce a finished product they are proud to present. They set goals, plan a path to achieve it, and see it through to its completion. Jamie loves to be involved in the physics community and their personality shines through in anything they get involved with. Jamie has a positive impact on our chapter and will continue to have one on our zone.
