Demitri Call is a student at Sonoma State University. He holds the Vice President position in his local SPS chapter. Demitri also holds positions as an observatory docent, instructional student assistant and has also worked on various projects for the NASA e/po department. His skills include image reduction and analysis, high magnetic fields, construction of embedded systems, Adaptive Optics systems, cryogens, surface mount soldering, micro-manipulation, and many others. Demitri has worked on several research projects such as galaxy size-mass relations at redshifts of z = 4, AO systems, Fermi surface studies, and orbital simulations. He has been on the winning writing committee for multiple grants such as the Marsh W. White and future faces grants. He has also been very involved in and orchestrated community outreach with people from elementary school through community college levels. Interests of his include Cosmology research, CubeSat projects, teaching, outreach, as well as sports, hiking/camping, and leadership.
