My name is Justin Stimatze, and I'm currently pursuing triple undergraduate degrees in Physics, Computer Science, and Mathematics at California State University, Chico. I've served as my SPS chapter's V.P. of Technology for the last year, and have been elected President for the Fall 2003-Spring 2004 semesters. I'm also active in my local chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon, an honor society for the computing and information sciences, and have been elected President of that chapter for the Fall 2003 semester.
I was born and raised in Chico, California. After being home-schooled, grades five to eight, I began attending my local community college at age twelve. At the age of thirteen, I began working part time to pay for my own tuition and books. I transferred to CSU, Chico at age sixteen, intensely focused on Computer Science. I quickly discovered my love of physics and mathematics, and now at age twenty, I plan to graduate in Spring of 2006. Thereafter, I intend to earn dual doctorates in Physics and Computer Science.
I enjoy reading, programming, ballroom dance, and underwater hockey, when I can find the time...
I'd like to sincerely thank Dr. Louis Buchholtz, who showed me the elegance and beauty of physics, and our dedicated chapter advisor, Dr. David Kagan.
